01-Jun-11: Music rang out from St Peter and Pauls church last night as the Balbriggan Summerfest Schools Choir Competition got underway. Well done to all of the pupils from Balbriggan Educate Together, St Theresa's National School, Balrothery National School, S.S Peter and Pauls Junior School, St Molaga's School Loreto Secondary School and Ardgillan College. The judge on the evening was Dr. Albert Bradshaw and compere was Ms May McKeon. A special appearance from Balbriggan Community Show Choir brought the show to an excellent close.

Tthree awards where given out on the night - Congratulations to St Molaga's School choir for winning the Junior Award, Loreto Loreto Secondary School for the senior award and a special highly commended award went to St. Theresa's National School. A great night of entertainment!
