Important Notice for those taking part in the Balbriggan St Patricks Day Parade !!!!

Let your friends and family who are abroad know by sharing our homepage with them...
The link to the live stream page will be available before the parade starts!

The parade and 'Live' stream will start at 1:45pm so you can get the popcorn ready, it's gonna be a great day!

Only groups who sumitted a parade entry form to the Balbriggan Town Council will be permitted entry into the parade

Each group will be given a plackard with a pre-assigned number. This number will be used to identifiy your group by the commentator during the parade.

(pick up point for plackards in Church car park)

There will be a funfair for the kids
on Clonard Street on St Patrick's Day
from 11:30am to 3:30pm

How the Day will Kick-Off!!!!
12:00pmGroups start to congregate in Church Car Park
During this time groups will be issued with their number so they can be identified by the commentator

1:00pmEcumenical Service in St George's Church
1:45pmParade & LIVE stream starts promptly
The parade will make it's way up the town and the motorised vehicles will turn off at Chapel Street. The walkers will continue on and turn near Bath rood. The parade will then make it's way back to the square for what promises to be a great festival
 Sharon Gaynor will be singing live on the square so this is your chance to hear Sharon LIVE!!! and wish her well

Later on in the evening...When you head back home on St. Patrick's Evening you can log onto Balbriggan.info to view the live stream as it went out to the world! What a great way to finish off the day!!!

We are working hard at the moment to put the wheels in motion to stream the St Patricks Day Parade 'LIVE' on our website. We have contracted the services of Lispopple Studios to broadcast and film the event and we are very excited.

With so many young people heading off around the world to find work we don't want to leave them out of the celebrations - let your friends and family around the world know by sharing this page with them

The Balbriggan St Patrick's Day parade has proved to be a great success over the past number of years with the great support from the local community and we now want to bring it to the next level.

The 'LIVE' stream will be available on www.balbriggan.info during the parade so people around the globe can watch the parade as it happens online!

After the event the programme will be edited down to one hour and shown on Sky TV (Showcase Channel 201) and Freesat (Channel 403) time and date to be confirmed

The parade starts at the car park opposite St. Peter & Paul's Church on Dublin Street at 1.45 p.m. and proceeds along the main streets of the town towards Lambeecher Estate before returning to Georges Square.
