Stop Your Mobile Being Used If It is Stolen Using IMEI

IMEI14-Feb-13: Stop your Mobile phone from being used if it is stolen by taking note of the IMEI (International Mobile Station Equipment Identity). By entering *#06# into the keypad on most phones, the IMEI number will show on screen (can also be found behind the battery). WRITE IT down!!! If a mobile phone is stolen, the owner can call his or her network provider and instruct them to "blacklist" the phone using its IMEI number. This renders the phone useless on that network and sometimes other networks too.
