22-Jan-12:
If you fancy a bit of out door activity &
fresh air Balbriggan Tidy Towns (BTT) are in need of some HELP with a significant
tree planting project next Saturday 28th Jan between 12.30 and 3.30pm. (see
invite below)
Fingal CoCo have donated a
large number of Yew Trees for planting in currently very barren area as you enter
Balbriggan from the Northern side. This would be a great opportunity to give a
hand to a local community environmental enhancement project.
If you can come along for even an hour it would be a great help we will be based
near the Balbriggan Garda Station, .... wellies and a spade would be an advantage

are planting a Yew hedge along the entire Drogheda Road side and part entrance
side frontage of the Garda station. To get this done as quickly as possible will
require as many as possible 'able' bodies on the ground to do the prep and planting.
This will look very attractive when finished and greatly enhance what is currently
a very bland street frontage. Can you put the word out about this job and encourage
colleagues / associates to be available when the plants are there. When:
Saturday 28th January from 12:30am – 3.30pm Where:
Drogheda Road R132 near Balbriggan Garda Station |
