19-Jan-12: Specsavers new store in Millfield Shopping Centre was officially opened today by Pippa O'Connor creating 15 full and part time jobs for the area. The opening marks a significant milestone for the company as the 40th Specsavers store to open in Ireland since 1991. It is one of two to open in the country this month. Specsavers currently employs 850 people nationwide and most of the 71 store directors, who own and run the businesses, are Irish.

In addition to being experts in eye health, Specsavers in Balbriggan also features a hearing centre, providing free consultation, hearing tests and aftercare with professional hearing aid audiologists.
