February 14, 2017 0

On Wednesday 1st March at 7.30 pm in The Bracken Court Hotel Balbriggan we would like you to come along to a meeting about the work of guide dogs. Feel free to bring somebody with you should that suit.  The meeting is been facilitated by our group the Balbriggan/North County Dublin branch and all of the other branches around ours are been asked to attend by Cork or their own local committee members such as Drogheda, North East Dublin, Ardee, Dundalk and Swords, Sutton and Clontarf.

Una Deasy, Fund raising manager and volunteer co-ordinator and Nick Palmer, member of the board of directors will also be in attendance along with the Vice Chairman of I.G.D.B. – Mr Pat Burke – to discuss, share ideas and answer any questions you may have.

irish_guide_dogs_for_the_blindNever before has a Vice Chairman of Irish guide dogs spoken to such a gathering of guide dogs volunteers in this area on the same evening.

Please let us know that you are coming. Light refreshments will be served so for catering reasons if nothing else we need to hear if you can come or not.

It will be a good evening and a good opportunity to meet fellow volunteers, share ideas and get to know what is happening with IGD this coming year.

Please ring us on 085 7663107 or email us to say you are coming or not as this is very important for catering reasons.
