As St. Patrick’s day is fast approaching we have collated the local events to make it easier for you to plan your day. No national holiday is celebrated worldwide with such passion and positive energy as St. Patrick’s Day so come on out and join in the fun on a day where the community comes together to celebrate. 

  • 8:30am ☘ Balbriggan Cancer Support Group 10k/Half Marathon
    One of the great sporting events on Balbriggan’s calendar is the Balbriggan Cancer Support Group 10k/Half Marathon. Covering a course in the coastal town of Balbriggan and surrounding north Fingal countryside.    Find out more here…
  • 11am to 1pm ☘ St. Patrick’s Day Family Fun at Millfield Shopping centre
    Face Painting, Balloon Modelling & Irish Dancing to get you and your family in the mood for the parade. O’ Shaughnessy Irish dancers will perform at the main entrance to Tesco and kid’s face painting and balloon modelling will be FREE.  Find out more here
  • 12:00pm ☘ Live music and dancing on Georges Square
    Singer Edel Murray and guitarist Matthew Redmond (of Mitchell & the Crew) will kick off the festivities at 12pm on stage at Georges square.  Cadence music school will showcase their talents and there will be an Irish Dancing display
  • 2:00pm Balbriggan St Patrick’s Day Parade
    Always a great day in Balbriggan the St. Patrick’s Day Parade see’s the town come together where community groups get to strut their stuff through the town to the large crowds that come out to support the parade. Find out more here…
  • 3:00pm ☘ St. Patrick’s Day at the Bracken Court Hotel
    Trad music from 3pm and  lots of fun-filled offering & entertainment on the day.  Find out more here…
  • 9:00pm ☘ St Patrick’s Night Ceili in O’Dwyers GAA Club
    St. Patrick’s Night Ceili in O’Dwyers GAA Club with music by Brian Boru Ceili Band.  Dancing from 9pm. Supper served. Find out more here…
