Sports Capital Grants Application Process To Begin Next Week

Fine Gael Councillor Tom O’Leary today (Thursday) highlighted that applications for funding under the Sports Capital Programme will be taken next week. “A new €40 million fund for important sports capital projects has been announced by Minister of State for Tourism and Sport Michael Ring. Balbriggan Christmas Day Swim 2013

The great Balbriggan tradition of the Christmas Day swim is going from strenght to strength and what better way to get the appetite for the Christmas dinner than a dip in the sea. Balbriggan Community Policing Forum Discontinued

Following on from notification from the North Dublin regional drugs task force on 9th December that the funding for the Community Policing Forum would not be forthcoming for 2014 an urgent board meeting was called. There was plenty of discussion around the table regarding this decision and everyone expressed their disappointment that such a vital service to our town would be discontinued.
