Balbriggan Community College awarded ‘International School of Distinction’ for the fourth year in a row

Trinity College Dublin recently hosted the TA2019 Transforming Education conference, and invited Balbriggan Community College to attend the two-day event so they could pick up the award, once again, for International School of Distinction. Balbriggan Community College was presented with the award following a gala dinner and award ceremony held in Oxford University, England. The award recognizes the work of the whole school in creating a 21st century Teaching and Learning environment, where students dream big and aim high.

CFESThis honor acknowledges the creation and execution of an exemplary plan for the entire school in ‘College For Every Student’ (CFES) core practices – Mentoring, Pathways to college and Leadership in Learning, coupled with implementation of innovative teaching and learning experiences.

Balbriggan Community College is linked with Trinity College Dublin via their TA21 programme of supports and expertise.
