This year’s Irish Times’ Feeder Schools Tables has, for the third year in a row, placed Balbriggan Community College as the top boys and girls secondary school in the town for providing access to third level education. For the past three years, no other mixed school in the town has bettered Balbriggan Community College’s Leaving Cert results, and subsequent ability to provide a platform for students to go on to college.

balbriggan_community_college_logoWith a 71% average over the last three years of Balbriggan Community College’s students going on to third level education, the school is miles ahead of its neighbours in proving it has the skills, teachers, and ability to give students the best chance of going to college.

This comes on the back of Balbriggan Community College being awarded the International School of Distinction for the second year in a row. The college progression rates, seeing seven out of ten students going on to third level, shows how far ahead of their competition the school is. There is no better mixed, multi denominational post primary school in the town.
