Balbriggan & District Historical Society launch Balbriggan: People & Places, 1893
October 19, 2018 ADMIN 0This evening Balbriggan & District Historical Society launched a photo exhibition in the Bracken Court Hotel. In 2016 Balbriggan & District Historical Society acquired two albums of photographs which were taken and exhibited in the year 1893. They show scenes of Balbriggan and its people at the time.
The Historical Society got the photographs digitised, and a selection of them printed. The exhibition was launched by deputy Mayor of Fingal Cllr Grainne Maguire and will continue tomorrow so if you didn’t get a chance to see the photos this evening pop into the Hamilton Suite in the Bracken Court Hotel, Balbriggan tomorrow where the exhibition will run from noon until 6 p.m.
