Balbriggan Tidy Towns Successfully Launch Adopt–a–Patch
June 24, 2015 ADMIN 0Balbriggan Tidy Towns are very pleased with the level of interest shown in the Adopt a Patch scheme and the excellent attendance at our launch in the Bracken Court Hotel on Monday 22nd. The people attending had excellent views on how Balbriggan can be improved and were very keen to play their part in doing this.
There are now 25 adopted patches which is a brilliant start point for the expansion of this idea to more people and more areas in the town – see list below
There is no closing date for coming on board and therefore the door is fully open for anyone else who wishes to join in. Also there is no long term commitment required and, as they say on those radio advertisements, there are no tricky conditions or small print. We hope that volunteers enjoy and get satisfaction out of what they are doing and also as more people come on board it will also become a great social activity.”
