Balbriggan Tidy Towns to Launch Adopt a Patch Scheme 2015

June 16, 2015 0

Balbriggan Tidy Towns are launching an Adopt–a–Patch scheme and we are looking for volunteers to take on the care of open areas around the town. This would include litter removal, dealing with graffiti, weeding and planting and other light works as required in specific areas. If you can spare a little time on a regular basis to keep your patch clean and litter free we would like you to come on board.

  • balbriggan_tidy_townsLarge areas will be divided up between a number of volunteers
  • You can nominate your own patch
  • The work can be done at a time that suits you
  • Gloves, bags, hi-vis vests and litter pickers will be provided
  • Fingal County Council will collect full bags from convenient points

If you would like to Adopt-a-Patch please attend an information gathering next Monday 22nd in the Bracken Court Hotel, Bremore suite.  You can meet us between 11:00 am and 12:00pm or between 7.30 and 8.30 pm.

If you need any further information in the meantime please contact any member of the Balbriggan Tidy Towns Committee.
