Update on Building Progress in Balbriggan

Back in January we brought you the story of a number of projects under construction in Balbriggan that were due for completion in 2016.  Today we are happy to bring you an update on the projects and to show you how work is progressing.  In just a few short months the building works have advanced and below are some updated photos taken today.  We have also included the Balbriggan Community College Sports Gym which we was previously published back in September 2015 and an additional new school north-west of St. Georges N.S.

Coláiste Ghlor na Mara
(planning ref: F15A/0242)

Northwest of the existing St. Georges National School, Off the Clonard Road (R122), Balbriggan, Co. Dublin.  The building comprises two construction phases. Phase two comprises of 1 no.2 storey extension of the school to accommodate 300 additional pupils, comprising teaching spaces and ancillary accommodation, with a floor area of C. 1890 sq.m. The total floor area for both phases is C. 9400 sq.m.
