Burst watermain in Balbriggan, Tuesday 3rd April 2018

UPDATE: Water outage in Balbriggan, Tuesday 3rd April 2018 due to a burst on water main feeding the Kilsough and Flemington reservoirs. Repair work has now been completed on the burst water main. Water  supply is being restored to south west Balbriggan this evening as the water level in Kilsough reservoir rises. Low water pressure will be experienced for a period of time after water is restored.

Water supply to north west Balbriggan will be restored by 10am tomorrow morning as Flemington reservoir refills overnight. Low water pressure will be experienced for a period of time after water is restored.

Customers are again requested to conserve water until normal supply restored. Alternative water supplies from tankers (boil water notice) will be available from this evening at the Castle Mill Shopping Centre and at Bremore Pastures Park/Hastings Estates.

1:30pm: Water outage in Balbriggan, Tuesday 3rd April 2018 due to a burst on water main feeding the Kilsough and Flemington reservoirs. Loss of water/low water pressure will be experienced for the remainder of today. Customers are requested to conserve water until repair work is completed and normal supply restored. A further update will issue later this afternoon on progress on repair work and expected return of water supply.

Areas affected: All Balbriggan town from Bremore (north) to The Chantries (south)
