For the first time in 19 years O’Dwyers GAA club were in a championship Semi Final and it was being played in Bremore Park. O’Dwyers Ladies team are going to run 1,000km in 7 days from Monday 20th to Sunday 27th April. Individual runs within 2km radius of home will be added to group tally daily. They are hoping to raise funds for Balbriggan Cancer Support Group and Jigsaw Balbriggan. (more…)
On Tuesday evening O’Dwyers presented a cheque for €2,400 to Balbriggan Senior Citizens. The money was raised from the from New Years Day Swim which saw many people heading into the freezing sea to raise money for a good cause. O’Dwyers began the Christmas day swim back in 1968 (more…)

The Balbriggan Christmas day started back in 1968 with 12 swimmers on the King’s strand. The aim of the event was to raise money for local causes and O’Dwyers GAA club have now decided to run a swim on New Year’s day will all monies raised staying in the local area. This year’s recipient is (more…)
Yesterday, three van loads of good donated by O’Dwyers GAA club members, the community of Balbriggan and local businesses headed off to the Capuchin Day Centre for homeless people. Over the last number of weeks the club put out an appeal for donations and were overwhelmed (more…)
