After nearly two decades of braving the wind, snow and the rain popular Lollipop lady Nancy Simpson retires from her post at St Peter & Paul’s National School in Balbriggan on Friday 28th June 2013. Balbriggan Schools Go ‘Uniform Free’ in Aid of Balbriggan Summerfest

Students from four primary schools in Balbriggan went without their uniforms today to raise funds for this years Balbriggan Summerfest. The students from St. Peter & Paul’s, St. Oliver Plunkets, St Molaga’s & St Georges were all happy to leave the uniforms at home for a day and donate €1 towards the cause. (more…)
