Millfield Shopping Centre in Balbriggan held a fashion show on Thursday in the Bracken Court Hotel The show featured the latest fashion trends for women, men and children from Vila, Jack Jones, Only, Vera Moda & Tesco. Backstage was a hive of activity as the models prepared to hit the catwalk. All proceeds from the show will go to Aware. A well suppored event for a great cause.. (more…)


Moriarty Backs Library Protest

Prominent Balbriggan businessman Luke Moriarty, has thrown his weight behind the local campaign against moving the local library, calling the proposal ‘crazy’. Mr. Moriarty, who helped Fingal County Council build the town hall and library on George’s Square says he no longer has anything to do with the building and he opposed the plan. (more…)

Balbriggan Comes Out in Force to Protest Against Library Move

Wanted: Over 55’s for Trinity Research Study

Householders To Be Given Free Water Allowance

Each household around the North County paying the new water charges due to come into force at the end of next year and early 2015, will have a free water allowance before they start paying. This means they will review/ discuss and interview the author & book clubs about the book on their Tuesday slot on TV3’s ‘Ireland AM’ for the 4 weeks in July.
