Community Welfare Service for North Balbriggan to Return to The TownJune 21, 2013 ADMIN 0
Brendan Ryan, Labour Party TD for Dublin Fingal, has been informed today that from Monday 1st July 2013, the Balbriggan Community Welfare Service which currently operates from Gardiner Street will re-locate to Balbriggan Social Welfare Office, 18 Mill Street, Balbriggan.
Ryan “This is good news for the people of Balbriggan and something I have been working on for many years. This will improve social welfare services in the town. Up until now, people have had to travel into the City Centre to avail of the Community Welfare Service, which as every Balbriggan resident will know, is not cheap. In recent years the Community Welfare Service has been in great demand due to the hardships suffered by many people and families which makes this move to Mill St most welcome and long overdue”
Ryan “This reconfiguration of operations will ensure improved public access to the service. Community Welfare Service should always be available IN the Community and this is welcome news for the people of Balbriggan”
