Dublin Falconry Opens At Courtlough, Balbriggan

Dublin Falconry, owned and run by Trevor Roche has opened it’s doors to the public at Courtlough, Balbriggan. Trevor who has a real passion for birds has been involved in Falconry since he was eight years old. His passion for flying, hunting and displaying Birds of Prey is evident when you talk to him and see how tuned in he is with these large birds. We got to witness the birds communicating with Trevor and Noddy the Barn Owl who acted like a pet cat when Trevor entered the enclosure.

Open on Saturday’s, Sunday’s & Bank Holidays to the public it is a real treat to see these great birds and with an admission fee of only €8 for adults or €6 for children it is well worth a visit!

Dublin Falconry also offers Hunting Days out, heritage events, falcon lure displays, a hawk walk, school excursions, corporate events, Birthday Parties, Wedding Entertainment and Film Collaboration.

Opening Hours:
The Falconry is open on Saturday’s. Sunday’s and Bank Holidays from 12:00pm to 6:00pm

Show displays take place at 12:30pm and 2:30pm

From Dublin
Take the M1 north bound for Belfast to exit 5 at roundabout take 3rd exit to Balbriggan. Across flyover and straight through the next roundabout towards Balbriggan. You will then pass by the Applegreen garage on your left go straight through roundabout at garage toward Balbriggan. You will then pass the M1 business park on your left, there is a small roundabout at business park and 300 metres past the roundabout there is a right turn (there is a Bus Eireann Bus Stop on the right at the turn) . Take that right and we are up that road about ½ mile on the left hand side.
