Fantastic Night with Celtic Tenors & Special Guests in BalbrigganApril 8, 2016 ADMIN 0
It was a fantastic night in St. Peter & Paul’s Church last night when the Celtic Tenors came to town. First to perform was the lovely choir from Balscadden National School who opened the show, followed by Fr Chris singing Neil Diamond’s ‘Sweet Caroline’. Amy Campbell gave a magnificent performance on the Uilleann pipes followed by the lovely choir from Balrothery National School.
The Celtic Tenors were greeted with a true Balbriggan welcome and performed covering a range of genres from classical and folk, to Irish and pop. Pianist Sophie Sullivan followed by Andrew Green (our local Tenor) and Balbriggan and Balscadden church choirs who performed with the Celtic tenors before the Celtic Tenors completed their final set. A fantastic night of musical talent and monies raised on the night will go towards supporting local youth who will travel to Krakow, Poland under the joint leadership of Niamh, Parish Pastoral worker and Fr. Chris for World Youth Day in July.
