Fingal County Council Announce Artists’ Support Scheme 2020

Fingal County Council invites applications for the Artists’ Support Scheme 2020, which provides funding of up to €4,000 to assist individual professional artists to develop their practice. The Scheme is open to practising artists working in music, visual art, drama, literature, dance and other forms at all stages in their professional careers who were born, have studied, or currently reside in the Fingal administrative area.

Artists can apply for funding under one of three Application Types: Residency, Travel/Professional Development, and Bursary towards the Development of Work. Projects or initiatives supported by the fund must take place from May 1 to December 31, 2020. 

The closing date for receipt of applications is Friday February 22, 2020 at 4pm.

Fingal has a proud and deeply-rooted tradition of art and creativity. The 2020 Scheme will help our artists to contribute to this tradition, which enriches us all.

I am delighted to announce the 2020 funding scheme which enables Fingal based artists to develop their professional arts practice. Last year 60 applicants working in diverse disciplines were awarded through this bursary strand.
