Garda Band & Community Gardai visit 3 Balbriggan Schools with a surprise visitor in tow

Gardaí in Balbriggan responded to a welcome 999 call today when they were requested to provide an escort for SANTA on his visits to local Primary Schools.  On receipt of the call the members of the Garda Band were summonsed to provide Jingle Bells, HoHoHo music and songs to warm up the audience in anticipation of the arrival of Santa.

Santa was so impressed with the singing and festive cheer that he promised Balbriggan would be the first location he would visit in Ireland on Christmas Eve.  He received assurances from the Local Gardaí that they would be available if any further assistance was required.
