The Garda Band where in Millfield Shopping Centre today for the final of the An Garda Síochana, Tesco, Millfield and Merlin Press – Design a Christmas Card Competition. The competition which was open to 3rd, 4th, 5th & 6th classes from each school in the town.

The winner was Elen O’Driscoll from Balrothery N.S., with runners up Niamh Rowe, Balrothery N.S. and Rachel Durnan, Balscadden N.S. and Ciaran MacDiarmada, Gael Scoile Bhaile Brigin. Well done to everyone who entered the competition which was well supported by all the schools and the entries can be seen in Millfield Shopping Centre.
