Great turnout for ‘Ireland Lights Up’ at O’Dwyers GAA Club this evening

January 17, 2019 0

Nearly 200 people turned up to participate in Ireland Lights Up in conjunction with Operation Transformation at O’Dwyers GAA Club in Balbriggan this evening. The group completed 3.5km with ease tonight and returned to the club for some refreshments  so they will increase the distance slightly next week! Don’t worry if you couldn’t make it tonight, everyone is more than welcome to join us at the same time next Thursday.

Transformation, is seeking to bring together communities across the 32 counties to enjoy healthy walks in the safe, bright, environs of their GAA club.  The progamme will run for 6 weeks so if you want to get out and about on these dark winter nights and enjoy some exercise pop along next week and join in the fun.
