The latest news as of 2pm on Saturday 16 October – 2,180 cases confirmed: 2,180 additional cases of COVID-19 have been confirmed. 406 COVID-19 patients are in hospital, with 71 of those patients in intensive care (ICU). To get a free COVID-19 vaccine you can register for an appointment at a vaccination centre. You can also go to a walk-in clinic without an appointment at certain times.

• register by phone
• book an appointment with a participating pharmacy
