The latest news as of 5.30pm on Tuesday 19 October – 2,399 cases confirmed: 2,399 additional cases of COVID-19 have been confirmed. 473 COVID-19 patients are in hospital, with 74 of those patients in intensive care (ICU). The 5-day moving average is 1,890.   To get a free COVID-19 vaccine you can register for an appointment at a vaccination centre. You can also go to a walk-in clinic without an appointment at certain times.

• book an appointment with a participating pharmacy
