The latest news as of 5.30pm on Thursday 21 October – 2,029 cases confirmed: 2,029 additional cases of COVID-19 have been confirmed. 448 COVID-19 patients are in hospital, with 88 of those patients in intensive care (ICU). To get a free COVID-19 vaccine you can register for an appointment at a vaccination centre. You can also go to a walk-in clinic without an appointment at certain times.

• register by phone
• book an appointment with a participating pharmacy
