The latest news as of 5.30pm on Wednesday 29 September – 1,453 cases confirmed: 1,453 additional cases of COVID-19 have been confirmed. 300 COVID-19 patients are in hospital, with 60 of those patients in intensive care (ICU). To get a free COVID-19 vaccine you can register for an appointment at a vaccination centre. You can also go to a walk-in clinic without an appointment at certain times.

To get a vaccine appointment, you can:

• register by phone
• book an appointment with a participating pharmacy
