The latest news as of 4.30pm on Thursday 7 October – 1,207 cases confirmed: 1,207 additional cases of COVID-19 have been confirmed. 355 COVID-19 patients are in hospital, with 69 of those patients in intensive care (ICU). To get a free COVID-19 vaccine you can register for an appointment at a vaccination centre. You can also go to a walk-in clinic without an appointment at certain times.

• register by phone
• book an appointment with a participating pharmacy
