Phoenix Baton Twirlers are a club based in Gormanston College sports complex. We train Tuesday & Wednesday evenings from 5.30-7pm. Both girls and boys are welcome to join, from ages 4 years and up. the class fee is €5  and the first class is free.

Baton twirling helps promote listening skills, attention, concentration and ambidexterity. It also encourages fitness, flexibility, confidence and team work.

The club is a member of the Baton Twirling Sports Association of Ireland (BTSAI), which is the governing body of our sport in Ireland, and the World Baton Twirling Federation (WBTF).

We take part in charity events and competitions several times a year locally, nationally and internationally. All coaches and adults involved in the club are Garda vetted through the association. Our head coach is qualified in FETEC Level 6 Sports coaching and Sports Psychology.
