An amazing array of talent performed at the Hope for Nikita concert which was held in the Bracken Court Hotel on Sunday 4th December 2011. Nikita who is 11 years old suffers from Sanfilippo syndrome. It was a night of glitz and glamour as dignitaries and business people arrived in the Bracken Court Hotel for the Annual Balbriggan Chamber of Commerce Ball. Balbriggan Christmas Festival 2011

There was so much happening on the square for the Balbriggan Christmas Festival from street performers, face painters, balloon artists, the Christmas market and festive music from St Patrick’s Brass & Reed Band, Jimmy Brennan and the fantastic school choir. Leo Cullen, Leinster Squad Captain visits Balbriggan Cubs

Courtesy of Balbriggan RFC, Leo Cullen, Heineken Cup winning Captain of the Leinster Squad, paid a surprise visit to the Balbriggan Cubs last Friday night with the trophy. Leo spent some time meeting all the cubs, and was delighted to hear that Jamie Hagan – Leinster Prop – was himself a cub in this troop in the past. (more…)
