Balbriggan Town Council Newsletter Summer 2012
0 August 3, 2012 ADMINThe latest edition of the Balbriggan Town Council newsletter is now available in electronic format. Hard copies will be available in various locations throughout the town in the coming days. The Balbriggan Town Council have decided not to do a 7,000 print run and deliver to every door on the basis of cost, most people have “no junk mail” notices on their doors and also due to the massive amount of people who look at the community website. Cheques Presented on Behalf of O’Dwyers GAA Club Christmas Swimmers
0 August 1, 2012 ADMINEach year Charities benefit from the 2011 Balbriggan Christmas Day Swim and tonight O’Dwyers GAA Club, Balbriggan presented a total sum of €2,700 which was raised by the swimmers. €900 was presented to the Jack and Jill Foundation, St. Vincent de Paul and O’Dwyers Injury Fund. Congratulations to Balbriggan man, Mark Russel-Hill on Winning the A4 Cycling Race in Donore
0 July 30, 2012 ADMINCongratulations to Balbriggan man, Mark Russel-Hill who won the A4 cycling race in Donore, Co. Louth on Sunday. This was only Mark’s fourth race and he did very well to get away on his own and hold off the bunch for the last 1.5 laps of the 6.4 km circuit. The race was took place over 8 laps of the circuit.
