O’Dwyers GAA Balbriggan recognised at the DMR North Garda Youth Awards 2021
September 11, 2021 ADMIN 0Congratulations to O’Dwyers GAA on winning two awards at the DMR North Garda Youth Awards 2021. The DMR North Division in association with Dublin City Council present the DMR North Youth Awards. The awards were held in Artane and attended by the Lord Mayor of Dublin Alison Gilliland and Brian Fenton from the Dublin team.
O’Dwyers Og Nursery & Academy Coaches came second in the group competition for their work with 150 to 200 children every weekend. The Group Award recognises groups making a positive contribution to their community, making it a better place to live. Congratulations to the Nursery & Academy Coaches!
Adam Ahern received an Individual Award which recognises people making a positive contribution to their community, making it a better place to live. Adam helped a lot of people in his community during the Covid-19 lockdowns with shopping, banking, and doing jobs in their homes and this was very much appreciated by those he helped, and it was lovely to see Adam recognised for this. Congratulations Adam!
