Remember Us Special Needs group Christmas Party in their new base

On 26th February 2016 Remember Us were lucky to become the proud owners of no 5 Balbriggan Retail Park and on Saturday 15th December they held their Christmas party in their new base. This marked a major milestone for the club who have been operating for 20 years been fundraising with the help of the local community and businesses to have a base of their own. The support they received has been second to none and with the fitout nearly complete the club can now enjoy the fruits of their hard work.

On the day Platinum Gyms presented a cheque to Remember us for €2,500 and the Camino Walkers led by Cllr Tony Murphy presented a cheque for €9,000.

Santa paid a visit on this day and the Dublin Panto group and Trish and the Ukulele group put on fantastic performances. A big congratulations to Nora and the team and to all the people who helped to make this a success and we wish them many happy years in their new home…
