St. Mary’s Baton Twirlers place 4th overall at the European Club Twirling Championships 2016

St. Mary’s Baton Twirlers Balscadden recently returned from Slovenia where they participated in the European Club Twirling Championships 2016 and came 4th overall out of 14 Clubs.  What an achievement for this local club. The Athletes, Club Directors, Judges and Coaches did both St Mary’s and Ireland proud.  We would like to thank all the Mammies who travelled to support the girls and help us out.

Athletes:  Louise Fagan,  Rachael Foley, Rachel Richardson, Leigha Collins, Keeva Howard, Cara Pendred, Amy Prosser, Kelly Gilmartin, Erin Delaney and Katie Monks.

Club Director :  Dinah Black, Michael Connolly, Susan Mullen and Tara Connolly.

All our other amazing results helped the club achieve this fantastic 4th place overall.

This month St. Mary’s Baton Twirlers is celebrating 37 years in existence and we are delighted to say we are going from strength to strength with Athletes ranging from the age of 4 years to 20 years plus. We will be resuming training on 7th September in St Patrick’s GAA Hall in Stamullen 6pm to 9pm.  New members are always welcome.
