The sun was shinning and people arrived in drives to the Ring Commons Sports Centre Annual Field Day. The dunk tank once again proved to be a huge success with youngsters lining up to take to the chair. Refreshments were plenty and families enjoyed the many activities on offer from sports (more…)

Labour TD Brendan Ryan has welcomed the opening of the registration process for over 70s free GP care today. Anyone who is over 70 and already does not have a medical card or GP visit card is now eligible to sign up for free doctor’s visits. The service will be available from Wednesday. (more…)

North County Horse and Carriage club held a 20km drive today in aid of St Michael’s Ward, Temple Street Children’s Hospital. Young Killian O’Byrne spent some time in the hospital when he was born and received excellent care and the family are keen to give back (more…)
Remember Us held their Shorts ‘n’ Shades BBQ & Disco on Friday 22nd August in Ring Commons Sports Centre. The Shorts ‘n’ Shades BBQ is always a favourite and party goers where in great spirits. The room was also decorated with palm tree decorations and the dance floor (more…)
