Tree Planting at Bath Road Community Garden

May 4, 2019 0

Today 8 apple trees, which were very generously donated by Balbriggan Tidy Towns were planted in the Bath Road Community Garden. Members of Balbriggan Tidy Towns were there to assist and the Residents committee are hoping that some children from the estate will adopt a tree to help look after them. The committee would like to say a special thank you to Cllr Tony Murphy and Garda Mark McKenna for all the help and support that they give to the residents.

The community garden is looking great thanks to the hard work of Frank McGuire and the residents are very thankful too Frank for all his hard work in keeping the area looking in top condition.  The apple trees will be a welcomed addition to the garden and will be enjoyed by residents for many years as they begin to fruit.
